Maria Semple will be our keynote speaker for this year's Authors & Illustrators Dinner & Silent Auction!

Semple’s novels include This One is Mine (which was a finalist for the 2010 Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Award), Where’d You Go, Bernadette (which won the American Library Association’s Alex Award and was the basis for the recent major motion picture), and the acclaimed Today Will be Different. Semple has also been a staff writer for many popular television shows, including Saturday Night Live, Mad About You, Ellen, Beverly Hills 90210, Arrested Development, and Suddenly Susan.

The 2019 Authors & Illustrators Dinner & Silent Auction will be held on Wednesday, November 6, at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets to this event are $90 each, and tables of 10 are available at a discounted rate of $850. There are also a limited number of tickets available for a private reception with Semple for $25 per person.
