Program Description

Event Details

Spring is an amazing time for enjoying birds and a prime time for bird song and activity. Enjoy a guided walk by Vancouver Audubon Society through the beautiful botanical gardens to get to know some of our local birds with some hints on identification using behavior, shape, plumage characteristics, and vocalizations.

Binoculars and some field guides will be available for participants. However, feel free to bring your own equipment. If you prefer digital field guides we suggest the Merlin app (https://merlin.allaboutbirds.org/). Also, be aware, restrooms will not be available in the garden until 9am.

Note

Library events and programs are open to the public and provided at no cost. Special accommodations may be requested using our Disability Accommodation Request Form no later than 15 days prior to the event.
