Program Description

Event Details

Stevenson Grange #121's 2020 “Critical Issues Of Our Times” film series, co-hosted with Stevenson Community Library, will feature discussions of four documentaries. Each film is accessible through Kanopy or other online platforms and will be discussed on a Tuesday, starting at 6:30 pm.

This month, before the meeting, watch the film MORE THAN HONEY on Kanopy using your library card to log in. Then on November 10th, log in to join the discussion with fellow community members.

More than Honey is a comprehensive look at the plight of endangered honeybees around the globe and the potential effects of their extinction. The film considers the scientific, environmental and economic implications of the honeybee epidemic while pushing for a profound understanding of bees on a deeper, often forgotten level.

Winner of Best Documentary at the German Film Awards.
