Event Details
Join us for an evening with renowned author, Noé Álvarez, as we engage in a conversation around his remarkable book, Accordion Eulogies: A Memoir of Music, Migration, and Mexico by Noé Álvarez, a first-person account that chronicles the author’s journey to understand his hyphenated identity—an American with deep familial and cultural ties to Mexico.
In conjunction with the author talk, we will have an exhibit of local artists and display their work that was inspired by the book. The reception provides an opportunity for the public to learn from the artists about the work they created and mingle over refreshments.
