How we eat can make a big difference our health and this is especially true of our mental health. Join Certified Nutritionist Karen Kennedy, MS, for a discussion about the connections between food and common issues like anxiety, depression, eating disorders, attention span and insomnia. The roles of blood sugar, protein, fats, genetics and other nutrients will be discussed. Participants will leave this class with a better understanding of the links between how we eat and our mental states and practical strategies to help you be your best self.

Karen Kennedy, MS Certified Nutritionist, works as a functional nutritionist in Clark County.  She has a masters degree in clinical nutrition from Bastyr University. The only nutritional philosophy she holds to is the one that helps each of her clients achieve health and happiness.  She loves cheese and studying nutrigenomics.
