As a first course, or a refresher, the session will cover the key components of grant writing to support your success.

  • Learn how to demonstrate the unmet need in the community
  • Identify the elements of a successful grant application
  • Discover sources of grant funding
  • Acquire useful tools for preparing grant proposals

This session is presented by Rick Horton. He is a nonprofit fundraiser, program developer, educator, and certified grant professional. Rick is Development Manager with Adaptive Sports Northwest and serves as West Coast Regional Representative for the Grant Professionals Association. His specialties include program planning, proposal development.

Registration is required at Nonprofit Network SWWA.
