Join us for part two of aircraft accidents with Doug Herlihy. As a former NTSB Investigator In Charge, Doug now spends most of his forensic inquiry in unraveling the circumstances of helicopter crashes of Medical LifeFlight, Tourist and Transport Helicopters. Case studies of unique mishaps may provide an understanding of the complexity of these wreckages.

Former Naval Aviator, and career Coast Guard pilot, as well as Operations Group Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board of Washington DC, Doug has investigated up to 800+ accidents around the world.

Doug was the Instructor of Accident Reconstruction at University of Southern California, School of Engineering 1994-2004 and has over 18,000 flight hours. Doug received FAA's most distinguished honor, the Wright Brothers "Master Pilot" award for his 50 years of flying and service to aviation safety in 2016.
