Are you new in business or are you an established business? Regardless, both exhibit common concerns:

  • Are you constantly putting out fires?
  • Are you working long hours or missing good opportunities?
  • Are you worried about what your competitors will do next?

We plan this program to be an interactive conversation with several seasoned SCORE mentors speaking freely as we look at ways to free up owners' time so they can focus on growth and profitability. Registrants will be encouraged to become familiar with a SCORE Self-Assessment Business questionnaire and share their comments and experiences in class so the program can be customized to the group's needs.

Patti Thompson is the SCORE Course Leader for this seminar. Patti has over 35 years of experience in business and tax consulting - working with subcontractors, manufacturers, retailers, service companies, nonprofits, and individuals - helping them understand their bookkeeping and payroll requirements and what’s needed to comply with the tax code.

SCORE thanks Fort Vancouver Public Libraries for helping make this series possible for the benefit of our business community. Register for this event by clicking the "Register Here!" button; you will receive login Instructions and a passcode for this event.

This is the second in a six-part series on Growing Your Business. Next in the series:

October 23: Managing Operations
