Laurie Wilhite will be sharing her experiences and reflections on a lifetime on the Columbia River, which led her to write her book Paddle to the Pacific chronicling her adventure from the John Day Dam to Astoria in a kayak. Born and raised in Goldendale, Washington, Laurie is a retired teacher and outdoor school facilitator.
