Columbia Room

2005 square foot (48' x 42'), community meeting room. All Columbia Room Doors must remain closed during library open hours. Large sliding doors may be opened to the Atrium (capacity 85) before and after regular open hours, or with prior approval of library staff.

Reservations may be requested up to eight weeks prior to the event and no less than seven (7) days in advance. Multiple day (consecutive) requests are allowed; repeating (weekly, monthly, etc.) are not.

Hourly rental rates:

• Government (Public entities/elected officials/neighborhood assn.) whose event is open to the public with no admission or donation – $0/hr
• Nonprofit (tax exempt) organizations, clubs, informal groups whose event is open to the public with no admission or donation – $0/hr
• Nonprofit (tax exempt) organizations, clubs, informal groups, government whose event is closed to the public and/or charges admission or donation – $50/hr
• For-profit organizations and private individuals whose event is open to the public with no admission or donation – $50/hr
• For-profit organizations and private individuals whose event is closed to the public and/or charges admission or donation – $100/hr
• Although the room may be reserved between 7 AM and 10 PM daily (excluding Holidays), an additional fee for hours before or after regular library hours applies to all organizations/individuals – $100/hr

Full payment for the room reservation must be made at least 4 days prior to the event date. Payments must be made with credit card online or by check. No cash or credit payments accepted in the library.

It is occasionally necessary for the library to cancel a reservation due to extenuating circumstances. Every effort will be made to give at least 24 hour notice. Groups needing to cancel are asked to contact the library as soon as possible to make the room available to others. Refunds provided on a case-by-case basis.
