Are you ready for chapter books? Grab an adult to join you and come ready to discuss, have fun and make new friends.
In December we'll be discussing Zeus, God of Thunder by A.I. Newton.
Zeus causes a ruckus while living with his parents, Kronos and Rhea, when every time he sneezes or gets mad his lightning shoots out, so they send him to Eureka, a camp where little gods learn to use their supernatural abilities, and with the help of other gods like the wise Athena and the wisecracking Hermes, little Zeus learns to control his own powers and succeed.
Please register below. Those who register more than 10 days before the book discussion date will have a copy automatically sent to their chosen branch to be picked up. You will get a phone call when it is ready for you. The books are yours to keep and generously donated by Friends of Cascade Park Library.
To join this online program, you will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. The link to join the event will be emailed to registrants. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker and microphone, if necessary.
