Event Details

Having trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep? You’re not alone! Rates of insomnia are on the rise during the Covid-19 pandemic. Join Sarah Nelsen, certified yoga therapist and yoga instructor, to learn how yoga can help with sleep. Learn gentle movements, breath practices and guided relaxation that can be incorporated into your bedtime routine. This class is suitable for all levels and is best practiced lying down, either on the floor or on a bed. There will be time for questions.

Sarah is passionate about using the tools of yoga to help alleviate anxiety, depression, insomnia and persistent pain while creating conditions for deep rest. Her classes are gentle and therapeutic with an emphasis on using the breath to help calm the nervous system and movement to gently release physical tension. Her classes are great for those who are new to yoga, are injured, or are craving a quiet, reflective practice. More information can be found at sarahnelsenyoga.com.

Sarah cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions. Yoga therapy works in conjunction with your current treatment for medical conditions.

To join this online program, you will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. The link to join the event will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker/microphone, if necessary.
