Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate International Dot Day and share your creativity with the world! Join us to create your own mark using an abundance of art and recycled materials: clay, paint, collage, buttons, glitter, pastels and so much more.  Artwork will be displayed through the month of September. Bring your imagination and join the fun!

The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds, tells the story of Vashti, a girl who begins a journey of self-discovery after she is challenged by her teacher to "make her mark."  The book and its themes of bravery, creativity and self-expression are celebrated every September.
