Program Description

Learning how to read on your own? Read, Make, Play! is a special book club just for you. At each club meeting we will read and talk about books, play games together, make all sorts of fun things, and gain skills to help us become super readers. Kids who participate in at least 4 weeks of this 6 week program will get to take home a book to keep.

For ages 5-8.

Nov 6: LOL! Stories that tickle your funny bone.

Nov 13: Super Science! Learn all about the world around you.

Nov 20: "Holy Reading, Batman!" Read and make graphic novels.

Nov 27: DIY: Investigating inventors and inventions.

Dec 4: Stories Without Words: Explore and create wordless picture books.  

Dec 11: Whodunit?: Reading and solving mysteries.

Library events and programs are open to the public and provided at no cost. Special accommodations may be requested using our Disability Accommodation Request Form no later than 15 days prior to the event.
