How do you assist a loved one when confronted with a medical crisis, or simply declining physical or cognitive health? Learn how to be an effective advocate and supporter of your loved one during hospitalization and doctor visits. Develop a deeper understanding of the potential for interactions and side effects of medications, particularly for the elderly. Learn about common chronic illnesses that impact many older adults in the US.

Presenter Janis Jasinsky is passionate about educating our community on elder care issues. She teaches a course on elder care through Clark College ECD and delivers trainings on Alzheimer's disease in both Oregon and Washington. Janis will share her knowledge on this topic and answer questions
