We are proud to partner with the Mount St. Helens Institute to offer a series of free public programs about Mount St. Helens and volcanoes around the world.

  • Wednesday, Feb 26 | 4 pm - 5 pm | Montserrat- Volcanoes in the Caribbean- Sonja Melander, author of the children's book Montserrat, Our Home will be teaching us about the fascinating world of the Caribbean Island Montserrat and its active volcano, the Soufriere Hills
  • Wednesday, March 4 | 4 pm - 5 pm | Eruption! The 1980 Eruption of Mount St. Helens
  • Wednesday, March 25 | 4 pm - 5 pm | Life Returns to Mount St. Helens


Event Location: Woodland Community Center (Next door to the library.)
