Program description

Whether you're in the thick of caregiving, anticipating it, or want to crack open this topic with your children, this discussion is for you. Join us for this lunchtime discussion, lunch from Subway will be provided and outside food is welcome.

Andy Wade, pastor, organizer, and caregiver, will share stories that open up dialogue and new perspectives about caregiving, self-care, and managing unexpected family dynamics.

Learn how to approach delicate topics and discover topics you may not even have thought about. Discover the importance of humor and how to cultivate joy during emotionally draining times. Together, let’s crack open this nut and begin exploring new ways to love, live and thrive together through this journey of life.

The Skamania County Reads 2020 selection is Being Mortal by Atul Gawande. Join us this April for related programming!
