Event Details

To honor Native American Heritage Month, Native American flutist Peter Ali will perform traditional music on a variety of Native flutes representing Plains, Woodland, Maya, and Toltec traditions. Peter will share stories of the flutes, and stories from his own rich, ethnic heritage.

Following the performance Peter will offer a half-hour workshop on the basics of playing Native American flute with the 30 cedar flutes he carries with him. (Workshop for ages 10 to adult.)
