Practice your Spanish-speaking skills with other adults. We help each other learn!

Join our facilitated group for high-intermediate level Spanish speakers.

This group has a fairly good grasp of the Spanish language but may not be able to speak fluently. The beginning of the session is devoted to speaking about activities and interests. We also work on points of grammar that cause difficulty for English speakers such as the preterite and imperfect tenses. This group has historically chosen a book to read which the library can loan to the participants. We also read articles from newspapers on topics suggested by the participants or the coordinator.

To join this online program, you will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. The link and password to join the event will be emailed to registrants. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker and microphone, if necessary.

Library events and programs are open to the public and provided at no cost. Special accommodations may be requested using our Accommodation Request Form no later than 15 days prior to the event.
