Gather up all your pillows and blankets for this class! Join Sarah Nelsen for a quiet, meditative practice and learn the difference in yin and restorative yoga. Supported shapes are held for 3-5 minutes in order to deeply stretch and deeply relax. Class can be done on the floor or on a bed. There will be time for questions.
To join this online program, you will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. The link to join the event will be emailed to registrants. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker/microphone, if necessary.
Sarah is a certified yoga therapist and yoga teacher. She is passionate about using the tools of yoga to help alleviate anxiety, depression, insomnia and persistent pain while creating conditions for deep rest. Her classes are gentle and therapeutic with an emphasis on using the breath to help calm the nervous system and movement to gently release physical tension.
