Program Description

Event Details

Seed to Supper is a 6-week beginning gardening class where we learn the basics of how to start and maintain a home garden on a budget. The research-based curriculum, created by a joint effort of the Oregon Food Bank and Oregon State University's Extension Service, focuses on plants and soil conditions specifically tailored for the Portland/Vancouver climate.

Participants will learn how to plan, plant, and maintain a healthy garden from seed to harvest. Each week participants receive seeds, different garden tools, or components needed to start gardening.

This class will meet on six consecutive Mondays. It is only necessary to register once.

Provided in partnership with the Clark County Food Bank.
