Experience the powerful rhythms of enTaiko, a dynamic Japanese drumming group composed of talented youth drummers! Enjoy the centuries-old musical tradition from Japan as enTaiko shares its captivating performance. At the end of the performance, the audience will have the opportunity to sample taiko drumming firsthand.

Led by Artistic Director Kazuyo Ito, enTaiko not only showcases traditional Japanese taiko drumming but also explores innovative art forms such as collaborative music creation with taiko and marimba. Through their energetic performances, enTaiko fosters community spirit and celebrates the strength of individuality and creativity within the group dynamic. For all ages. www.entaiko.org

enTaiko is a youthful, high-energy performance group that fosters community. The group performs at cultural events and music festivals in the Portland area, aspiring to create opportunities for strengthening and expanding the community. Artistic Director, Kazuyo Ito has guided enTaiko since its inception in 2007 and has instructed over a thousand children through classes and workshops at public schools and libraries.
