Have you always wanted to learn how to knit? Or maybe you're already a knitting pro and are looking for a fun way to connect with other knitters. Either way, we've got the perfect event for you!

Dust off that long ago knitting project and finally get it finished. Meet other knitters and needle workers, ask questions, and get help from others on those tricky projects. This is an informal group that meets weekly.

Bring your current project and meet with fellow knitters, crocheters, and other needle crafters. All skill levels welcome. Share tips, techniques, patterns, and enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters. 

Join the Friends of La Center Community Library for their annual centerpiece workshop. Families will work together to create a unique piece for their holiday table. All supplies are provided, while supplies last.

Come decorate your own beautiful gingerbread house! All supplies provided, while supplies last.

Arts and crafts! Toys and games! New early learning activities and tips each week. Parents and caregivers, come and visit with others. Drop in and see what fun we have waiting for you.

Join us every Friday afternoon for creating, experiencing, and merriment for kids and families. Drop in anytime during the hour.

Celebrate the winter season by making a beautiful wreath. Greenery, wire and framework are provided (or bring your own). If you have any, please bring clippers and any additional embellishments to personalize your wreath.

Art Chats are held once a month to promote awareness of art in our area, to encourage sharing our own art, to teach art techniques, to share local art events, and to network with your peers.

If you'd love to write more but don't have a project in mind, this is the group for you! The process of writing can be rewarding, regardless of the product: journal, memory book, brain dump, lists or whatever else you can think of.

Join our drop-in stitchery group! Bring your project to work on at this informal get-together. Any stitchery hobby is welcome: knitting, crochet, spinning, lap quilting, needlepoint, counted cross-stitch—even mending!

Stop by the Yacolt Library Express every Wednesday and Friday, anytime between 11 am–5 pm, and create a family friendly craft.
