Program Description

Event Details

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) invites you to come celebrate and learn about African American Culture & History in the Pacific Northwest, in a special day of presentations at Vancouver Community Library.

1-2 pm     African dancing and talking drum with Habiba Addo

2-3 pm     The Buffalo Soldiers with Frazier Raymond

3-4 pm     African American Women Through History with Maima Fahnbulleh

A reception will accompany the performances. In partnership with Clark County Historical Museum, history displays will be located in the atrium. Local and historical African American art will also be on display through February.
