Event Details

In partnership with the Goldendale City Council Time Capsule Committee, Goldendale Community Library is hosting a scavenger hunt.

Guidelines for the Historic Scavenger Hunt for the Goldendale Sesquicentennial are as follows:

The scavenger hunt will be held on Friday, July 8, 10 am - 5 pm.

All participants that complete the hunt by 5 pm Friday will be entered in the grand prize drawing to win Mayor for the day; drawn at the Time Capsule event.

The first 10 submissions will receive a Sesquicentennial Commemorative Coin, along with a commemorative rock (from the cement slab used 50 years ago) and water bottle, along with library-related prizes.

Scavenger hunt will be a fill-in-the blank format.

Five of the sites will have a puzzle piece, it’s a mystery which sites those will be. Collect all five for a commemorative puzzle!

Those who may have missed the hunt on Friday can pick up a form at Goldendale Community Library or Chamber of Commerce Table on Community Days and participate at their own pace. Prizes on Saturday are while supplies last.
