Program Description

Event Details

Join us for a nonpartisan workshop to learn about the Constitution. We'll look at the Constitution’s creation, trace major changes to its interpretation, and examine its current limitations. In so doing, we will shatter some myths.

Presenter, Donna L. Cohen, MEd, MLIS is professionally trained as a teacher and librarian. For the past nine years Donna has presented nonpartisan Civics workshops for adults, usually through libraries and other community organizations. Her workshops foster critical thinking skills, fill in gaps in civic and political understanding, and encourage civic engagement by revealing the myriad ways people can have their voices heard.

This in-person program is also being offered virtually. The online link will be sent via email after registering for the event.

Registration required for virtual attendance.
