Thru-hiking is defined as backpacking a long-distance trail from end to end. Have you ever wondered what it is like to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, the Pacific Northwest Trail, the Continental Divide Trail, or the Appalachian Trail? Wonder no more. Come hear the Bennetts share their experience hiking over 9,000 miles with four kids and a dog. Presentation will include time for questions and answers at the end.

Mindi Bennett is the author of Kids Out Wild: A Tale of Love and Suffering on Four of America's National Scenic Trails and Gear Up with Kids Out Wild: A Gear Guide for Backpacking Families.
