Observing relationships in our Natural World A Mill A and PCIA Student Art Exhibition 

Medəˈmôrfəsəs- The process of transformation from an immature form to an adult form in two or more distinct stages. -a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means. 

A work in progress creating a series of art in different media, expressing relationships and changes among humans and the natural world.

Mill-A Public School District in Cook, Washington, midway between Stevenson and White Salmon, is open to any Washington state resident. 

About Our Schools 

Mill-A School provides K-8 grade education offering Visual Art and Music class weekly. Kindergarten is all day. Reading and math curricula are based upon Common Core State Standards. Science is taught using FOSS kits, which offer hands-on exploration of numerous subjects, such as sound, anatomy, electricity, and magnetism. 

Pacific Crest Innovation Academy (PCIA), provides 9-12th grade Highschool instruction, empowering students to discover their passion, define their goals, and graduate confident, connected, college- and career-ready. A STEAM-focused environment, PCIA offers College in the High School courses giving students an opportunity to earn up to two years of transferable college credit concurrently with their high school diploma. Current Visual Art offerings include Beginning and Advanced Studio Drawing, Painting and Printmaking.
