Create unique pieces of art with paper!

If you combine the words Storytelling and Origami, you get Storigami. In Storigami, each folding step is like a page of a storybook. It is a fun way to be introduced to the art of folding paper, and the story helps you to remember the folding sequences too. In this session, Origami Instructor Yuki Martin will tell a story about herself, while teaching you how to fold an origami piano.

No folding experience necessary. All materials provided. Ages 3–7 and their families.

Yuki shares the art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures to create amazing two & three-dimensional sculptures. Born and raised in Japan Yuki enjoyed a fair share of origami just like most Japanese children, but had forgotten about it as she grew older. It is only since 2006 that Yuki started folding paper again, while teaching school aged children. Yuki’s interest in origami grew over the years since then, and it eventually became her main subject to teach, and her passion. yukiorigami.com
