Event Details
Houseplants contribute to cleaner, healthier indoors air, reduce stress and increase pain tolerance and they make our surroundings more pleasant. Caring for them is a fun and rewarding activity.
We'll be having a seed and plant swap at the event, so bring any extra plants or seeds to share with others.
Join the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener program for an introductory workshop on houseplants. Whether you already have several or have not yet started collecting houseplants, this workshop will equip you with the basics of houseplant care. Topics include light requirements, watering, growing media. Takeaways include how to determine when your houseplant should be repotted, how to propagate your favorites and tips to keep in mind when purchasing houseplants.
