Join us on Facebook for a story told or sung by a member of our staff. You might even recognize them from your local library. Not available at 10 am on Fridays? These will be recorded for later viewing. Each week we'll suggest an at-home activity and a learning exercise in one of our library eResources.

This week discover the poetry of Langston Hughes through this illustrated book titled Sail Away, illustrated by Ashley Bryan. Poems are great tools for language development and since they are often short they can engage emerging readers that are otherwise daunted by longer reading materials!
