The "Our Backyard" Series connects our community with historical, recreational and educational opportunities within a 40 mile radius of Battle Ground.

Do you know the difference between a Northern Flicker and a Winter Wren? Have you ever heard a bird song and wondered what type of bird it belonged to? Sam Neuffer, Vice President of the Vancouver Audubon Society, will lead this introductory workshop on the ways to identify and photograph birds. This workshop will feature a "listening lab" with bird songs to help with identification and an outdoor component (weather permitting).
