Join us for a fun evening of open mic poetry! We invite you to bring your own works and perform them in front of a supportive crowd. There's no better place to find your voice and share it with your community.

Please bring a printed copy of your poem, or be willing to share a copy with staff prior to performing, to ensure we follow FVRLibraries' Rules of Conduct Policy and create a welcoming, safe environment for all poets.

Seating is first come, first served.

Each open mic slot gets you three minutes of stage time.

No need to memorize your work.

If you read someone else’s work, give credit where due.

Above all, show kindness to all. No hate speech, slurs, or sexually explicit language.

Library events and programs are open to the public and provided at no cost. Special accommodations may be requested using our Disability Accommodation Request Form no later than 15 days prior to the event.
