Program Type:Book Group
How does a life get translated onto the page? Delve into the construction of the personal narrative with a discussion group dedicated to the memoir. Join us online for a discussion of a short-story length memoir.
This month we will be discussing The Sun is a Compass: a 4,000-mile journey into the Alaskan wilds by Caroline Van Hemert.
If you register more than 10 days before the book discussion date, a copy of this month's book will automatically be sent to your chosen branch to be picked up. You will get a phone call when it is ready for you.
To join this online program, you will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. The link to join the event will be emailed to registrants. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker and microphone, if necessary.
Library events and programs are open to the public and provided at no cost. Special accommodations may be requested using our Accommodation Request Form no later than 15 days prior to the event.
