Program Description

Event Details

¿Habla español? Practice speaking Spanish in a group setting, led by a Spanish-speaking volunteer.

To participate in Conversation Circles, you should have enough command of the language to be able to:

  • Introduce yourself
  • Discuss topics related to your life
  • Express ideas and ask simple questions
  • Follow discussions on a variety of topics
  • Confidently participate in the discussion

You do not need to speak completely error-free Spanish and you may have some gaps in your Spanish vocabulary. You should be willing to stretch yourself and build your skills between sessions. Conversation Circles are NOT formal language classes.

Need help getting started in Spanish or building your skills between sessions? Check out these resources, free with your library card!

The link and password to join the event will be emailed to registrants. You will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker and microphone, if necessary.
