Cryptids—mysterious animals that may or may not be real—have fascinated people for thousands of years. Join author Kelly Milner Halls on Zoom as she shares some of these intriguing stories with you. Drawing from her books, Tales of the Cryptids: In Search of Sasquatch and Cryptid Creatures: A Field Guide, Halls will guide you through a fun exploration of the evidence surrounding these elusive creatures.

Coming in the fall of 2025, Sea Monsters: A Field Guide and Cryptid Babies promise to further expand our understanding of these mysterious beings. Kelly may even offer a sneak peek into these upcoming books during the event.

Kelly Milner Halls is an multi-award winning writer of nonfiction books for young readers. She had always been the weird kid–the kid who asked too many questions, the kid who couldn’t stop talking to her neighbors, and couldn’t find a book she wanted to read. As Kelly grew up and became a writer, the kids responded excitedly. Kelly writes “I’m living my dream.
