Program Description

Event Details

Join Melissa Mattern in the basics of meditation including types of meditation, how to get started, and how to support your practice. This workshop is geared for any level of experience or age group. It answers the question, “If I start meditating what results can I expect and what am I getting myself into?” This is part of the Grange’s Community Resiliency programs.

Melissa has been meditating for 14 years and has over 1,000 hours of professional training in mantra meditation, mindfulness meditation, and brain improvement techniques. With over 2,500 hours of teaching experience, she meets you where you are and helps you develop a meditation practice that works for your life. Comfort and sustainability are key and she keeps it simple and achievable. Experience with her students has proved that if you can breathe, you can meditate.

The Community Resiliency programs are co-sponsored by Stevenson Grange #121 and Stevenson Community Library. For program information, please call Mary Repar at (360) 726-7052 or e-mail repar@saw.net.

Once registered you will receive a link, via email, to join us online at the time of the program. You will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone.  A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker and microphone, if necessary.
