Do you want to be a part of the fight for equity, but don't know where to start? Join us for a monthly moderated discussion group focused on anti-racist literature and other media. All assigned materials will be freely available online with an FVRL library card.

This month we are reading Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad, which is as an ebook from Overdrive (without needing to put it on hold from June 22 - July 13) and from Hoopla (also without holds indefinitely). If you aren't already an Overdrive or Hoopla user, both are free to use with your library card. You can find information for getting started here.

Please note: This title is intended by the author to be experienced as a 28-day practice. We encourage attendees to engage with the book, including the reflective journaling prompts, on their own time schedule and join this discussion regardless of how far they have progressed.

To join this online program, you will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. The link to join the event will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker and microphone, if necessary.
