Henna is a timeless form of body adornment practiced across continents and cultures for thousands of years. In this immersive workshop, explore the captivating history, science, and cultural significance of henna while gaining insights into the art's symbolism and techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to receive their own henna design.
Led by knowledgeable instructors deeply rooted in multicultural henna studies and practices, this experience offers a holistic perspective on henna's global legacy.
Roving Horse Henna - Wendy Rover has been working with henna since 1993 and has made her living as a professional henna artist since 2005. While the art of henna is the focus of Wendy's business, sharing her knowledge and understanding of henna's long history and its traditional and cultural uses is her passion. Wendy is honored to share what she has learned in over 20 years of study about henna in her classes and workshops, always ready with information or stories about henna's magic, meaning, and history. For Wendy, participating in the connection that henna forges between plant and person, past and present, and between cultures is the highlight of her work.
