Program Description

Event Details

Do you have a project that could use 3D printed parts, but don’t know where to find the right files? Have you tried to 3D print an object, but it’s not working out as planned? Have you designed your own 3D object that you would like to print on our equipment?

During our monthly Open Lab, staff will be available to answer your 3D printing questions, look at your files with you, or get your object printed using the library’s 3D printer. Staff help and printer use will be available on a first come, first served basis.

If you are interested in learning how to create your own objects for 3D printing, please attend one of our Intro to 3D Design workshops. If you would like to become certified to use our 3D printer at your convenience without staff assistance, please attend 3D Printing Certification.

Attendance at this 3D Printing Open Lab is encouraged for those interested in becoming certified for independent use of the library’s 3D printer.
