Program Description

Event Details

Join certified yoga therapist and yoga teacher Sarah Nelsen for a yoga class focused on gentle strength and stretching as well as calming the nervous system. We will use gentle movement, breath and guided relaxation to relieve tension and stress. Class may include poses on the floor, seated, and standing - adaptations will be given to make class as accessible as possible. Reclined poses could be done on the floor or a bed; seated poses could be done on the floor or in a chair; standing poses could use the wall or a chair for support. The last Tuesday of each month will focus on a mix of Restorative, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. These practices focus on floor based stretching, meditation and relaxation. Props you may want to have on hand include: a blanket, a pillow, a strap, and a chair.


The link to join the event will be emailed to registrants. You will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. A phone number will be included to allow you to use a phone as speaker/microphone, if necessary.
