Program Description

Event Details

Learn basic watercolor skills. Sign up each week to work on a different project. You will need to source your own supplies for the program. Basic watercolor set (Crayola or other beginner-based set is fine), pencil, eraser, ruler, one small brush (size 1) and one big brush (size 6 or 7), paper towels, paper plate for mixing colors, water, black fine tip marker. If you cannot source the supplies, please email programsvc@fvrl.org.

Mrs. Monika  Deshpande is a local artist and mother of two. She has been teaching art for 19 years in the greater Vancouver area.

She will be teaching these art lessons and focusing on painting watercolor techniques and shading. Each watercolor lesson can be completed in an hour. 


*Registration required for each weekly Thursday class, held online February 22–March 21. 

The link to join this online event will be emailed to registrants. You will need a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone.
