Program Description

Event Details

Join us on this odyssey to adventure as we weave this tapestry of tales spanning across cultures and through time and space. Meet the myth-chief makers, monsters, heroes, and heroines in these faraway lands, where magic is real. Come along with a famous Japanese hero, only one inch tall, as he fights an enormous Ogre or Oni to save a very smart princess. Hear how Chipmunk tries to help Grandfather Bear, how two goats work to cross a bridge at the same time, and a tale of Tiger, Baby Rabbit, and the Mochi.

Alton has performed in schools, libraries, museums, and universities across the country. He has created multicultural programs sharing Asian folk tales from many countries as well as legends from Hawaii. www.altonchung.com
