Yumi Torimaru is a director of Takohachi (www.takohachi.org), and a creator of Kotori Japanese Music. Yumi’s childhood dream was to become a scientist. After more than 10 years working at a genetics lab in Portland, OR, she is now pursuing her grownup dream, to be a musician. www.kotorijapanesemusic.com
