Meet Lane and Betsy Smith, parents of Amber Smith, author of the 2018 KOOBDOOGA featured book: Danger Close: My epic journey as a combat helicopter pilot in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Betsy and Lane have three daughters, all of them pilots. This is a White Salmon family with flight in their genes!
