The National Alliance on Mental Illness for Southwest Washington (NAMI SW WA) is hosting a series of events for Suicide Prevention & Awareness month in September. Art by several local artists and others whose lives have been impacted by suicide will be on display at Three Creeks Community Library with a reception on Tuesday, September 25 at 6:30 pm. Work displayed will include photography, paintings, drawings, and mixed media pieces.

Additional artworks are on display during September at Vancouver Community Library, Cathlamet Public library, and Skamania Chamber of Commerce. These pieces will be available in a silent auction and fundraiser held in October to benefit NAMI SW WA’s services in behavioral health counseling, support groups, and educational classes for consumers and families.
