Born and raised in Japan Yuki enjoyed a fair share of origami just like most Japanese children, but had forgotten about it as she grew older. It is only since 2006 that Yuki started folding paper again, while teaching school aged children. Yuki's interest in origami grew over the years since then, and it eventually became her main subject to teach, and her passion. Yuki lives in Portland, Oregon and teaches at local schools, libraries, camps, elder care facilities, correctional facilities, and at special events.
