Sherry Mashburn, Parent Resource Coordinator and Assistant Director of the Parent Training Project has been with PAVE for over 30 years. She supports parents through training, information and referrals. She is also a foster parent and a parent of children special needs.

We will discuss options for those students who are not making progress and need additional support in school.

  • How to make a referral that will be listened to
  • Difference between 504 plans and IEP’s
  • How to tell if students are making progress
  • Behavior issues and advocacy strategies
