Did your invitation to Hogwarts get lost in the mail? Never fear, we’ve got you covered. Come celebrate the wizarding world of Harry Potter! Gain points for your house in trivia, dodge Filch in our Escape Rooms, DIY your own wand, and more. And make sure to join SPEW by bringing new socks and other clothing for donation to Share House.

Friday:
Funtastic Friday - Children’s Room, 3:30 pm
Are you ready for some fun? Drop in this Friday for a wide range of Harry Potter projects. Make wands, house badges, and more! All ages.

Harry Potter Trivia - Columbia Room, 5 pm
Bring your big, geeky brain to our after hours trivia contest. Come with a team or form one here! Ages 14 and up.

Saturday:
Escape the Room of Requirement - Skamania Room, beginning at 1 pm
Can you find the secret passage to escape the Room of Requirement before Filch finds his way in and sentences you to detention? Sign-ups begin at 12 pm; rooms start at 1 pm. Separate rooms are available for teens/adults ages 12 and up, and families with children ages 9 and up.

Potions Class - Columbia Room, 1 pm (repeat class Sun at 11 am)
Discover the subtle science and exact art of potion making. There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class! All ages.

Quidditch Game - Library Lawn, 3 pm
This event has been cancelled. Please join us for other Harry Potter events throughout the weekend.

Sunday:
Craft Connection - Skamania Room, 11 am
Join our weekly adult craft group to make bowtruckles and a monster book of monsters! Ages 14 and up.

Potions Class - Columbia Room, 11 am (repeat of Sat class)
Discover the subtle science and exact art of potion making. There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class! All ages.

Friends of the Library’s Ice Cream Social - Columbia Room, 1 pm
Join the Friends of Vancouver Community Library in celebrating the library’s 7th birthday and welcoming our new Branch Manager, Kelly Lamm. The Friends will be dishing up ice cream and friendly conversation at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour on the south lawn. All Ages.

Divinations Class - Klickitat Room, 1:30 pm
Come and learn how to use divination to unlock your intuitive potential. No crystal ball necessary--just your imagination! Best suited for teens and up.

Ongoing:
Dobby's Clothing Drive - Level 1, Fri-Sun
Benefit our local community and join the Society for the Protection of Elfish Welfare (SPEW). Donations of new socks and clothing will be accepted for Share House.

Scavenger Hunt - Children’s Floor (Level 3), Fri-Sun
Can you find all of the horcruxes hidden throughout the 3rd floor? Find all 7 and get an entry into the grand prize drawing! Pick up your scavenger hunt list at the Welcome Desk on Level 1. All ages.

Interactive Movie Marathon and Crafts - Teen Room, Sat-Sun
All are welcome to join us as we relive Harry’s journey through Hogwarts. Watch the movies, follow the script, and make your own pygmy puff. The Teen Room will be open to all ages this weekend, so come on in! All ages.
