Are you ready for chapter books? Grab an adult to join you and come ready to discuss, have fun and make new friends.

Each month a free copy of the next month’s “book of the month” will be given to those attending to keep and add to their home libraries.

For children ages 6-9 with a participating adult. No older or younger children, please.

This month we are reading Mercy Watson to the Rescue by Kate DiCamillo.

To Mr. and Mrs. Watson, Mercy is not just a pig — she’s a porcine wonder. And to the good-natured Mercy, the Watsons are an excellent source of buttered toast, not to mention that buttery-toasty feeling she gets when she snuggles into bed with them. This is not, however, so good for the Watsons’ bed.
